INSARD is a registered society originated for the enforcement of the rights of dalit community in 1989. The organisation has been addressing the issues of dalit and deprived women for the past 19 years. Apart form the dalit rights programmes, INSARD has been concentrating on the Awareness and prevention programme among industrial workers in Sathur block of Virudhunagar district. Initiative efforts on Anti-trafficking of women was made in Madurai regional level 10 districts and involved in identification, rescue and rehabilitation of the women under trafficking.
